Up coming show!

Here I am with my first cold of the year - in June, ugh. Enough whinning though. Our first show is coming up the end of July, so I have lots of ideas to bring to reality. Now to load up on vitamin C and some sleep.

This is the picture for the beccabags update, however publishing problems persist. I hopefully will have everything straighten out soon.

new website

The new website is up after weeks of hard work. I hope it is ever changing with new bags, just like cute little dot. The beccabags petite line will stay at cute little dot, while the bigger bags will have a new home at beccabags. Sewing and the web are my to favorite mediums!

the missed train

We just got back from our New York City visit. It was the first time I ventured the subway system without a fellow New Yorker to lead the way. We made it from the tip of Brooklyn to the American Museum of Natural History
in Manhattan, but missed one stop along the way. I missed the connection for the C train, so we decided to walk down 5th Ave and through Central Park to the museum. I look this picture along the way.

February bags

After taking a little break in Janurary, I feel more productive now. The beccabags petite line for February is up at Cute Little Dot. This episode of the dot story is winding up too. I'm thinking of writing the next dot story about a frog, a fly, and boy named Phineas. (I just found this cool site when I was trying to figure out how to spell Phineas!) Now to work on my next project!!

ruffle messenger

This ruffled messenger bag is on its way to a very patient customer. I got a little burnt out during/after the holidays, so finally this bag is done!

magazines

Happy New Year!! This is a bag I made last year, well two years ago now. It is so pretty. I hope the person who has it, loves it! Reminiscing . . .
We went to the library today, and I checked out some magazines from a few years ago. I don't like the way magazines pile up in clutter when I subscribe to them. Though, I am thinking of subscribing to this one, Craft Business Magazine. I saw it on Amy Peter's Studio Blog. If you have read this magazine, what do you think?

Hopefully by the end of this day the December beccabags will be up! I tried cell bags, thanks to an idea from Marie. They are fun to make and cute, cute, cute!!
Only two more bags events before the end of the year and a list of custom bags to make -- no more sleeping for me, only sewing!
